Situated in Farnham, I live with my husband and lovely ginger cat, Max! I am also a mother to three wonderful children, all in their 20s. I chose to work in this form of therapy after seeing the positive, life changing results it had on my daughter, who’s everyday life was affected by her anxiety. This inspired me to help others who may be struggling. I studied at the highly regarded Clifton Practice of Hypnotherapy where I gained a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH).

I can’t thank Shona enough for what she has done for me. I came to her because I wanted to get over my driving phobia on dual carriageways and motorways which I’d had been avoiding for more than 15 years and having to take ridiculous detours or public transport. I felt very trapped by my driving restrictions and my feeling of panic when I thought about it and was desperate to try something to help. Shona made me feel so calm and the environment is so relaxing. After the sessions addressing the phobia I travelled on the A31 feeling completely relaxed and felt a new lease of life and my freedom back. It was quite incredible!

We all have a natural fear response, fight, flight, freeze, a primitive emotion for our survival. These days our emotional response to fear is the same, although we are not often hiding from polar bears.
